Duties and Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the finance department’s daily activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial policies.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems to protect company assets and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze financial data and advise senior management on fiscal performance, risk, and strategic financial planning.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA or M.Sc. in Finance) is an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are often required.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific regulations and financial best practices.
